Gutter Parties' (AUS) 'Marooned' EP was recorded on a low-grade trial version recording program with an inbuilt laptop microphone during the Spring of 2009 on the island of Tasmania, Australia. The result of these collected noises has been described as 'tribal dreaming'; a small selection of short musical trips that entwine jungle rythms with hill-billy banjos and low quality nylon guitars. Meditation balls and bells string together the 5 tracks that last under 15 minutes in total. The EP was originally released as a free digital download but since has been re-released in limited edition hand-painted CD version. - Animal Psy
